He was super friendly and knowledgeable, showed me the problem and how to fix it (I just needed a new filter). I did my homework and read several other companies’ reviews before I called LaSalle. LaSalle was highly rated and friendly over the phone so we had them come out and provide an estimate. Now, I’m joining the other reviewers to tell you JUST how fabulous they are. Scott (the owner) and his two sons came out on a Saturday to install an A/C unit because we were expecting temps in the mid 90’s for the long Memorial holiday weekend. They were prompt, knowledgeable, friendly, caring, honest, and just downright the nicest folks you’ll ever meet. On top of that….FAIRLY PRICED. Hands down, this should be your ONLY call for heating and cooling needs! Customer for life.
Service was scheduled same day after 90+ weather. Technician arrived during the scheduled time and fixed the problem quickly. He guaranteed it for one year and didn’t leave until he knew it was working. I will certainly be calling back should I need any future repairs regarding my furnace or A/C.
Being in the customer Service business myself, I understand what it means to give it and receive it. Charlie came into my home and explained everything so I could understand it. Of all the things to wake up to, a carbon monoxide alarm has to be one of the most unpleasant. That is exactly what happened to my family last week, and when our furnace was red-tagged by our gas company, I immediate called LaSalle due to the highly positive reviews. Now it’s time to add my testimonial.
Within an hour of first contact, Scott was in my home giving me an estimate of the job. I could not have asked for a more pleasant encounter given the stress of the morning. Scott was both personable and professional, and his estimate was more than fair for what we needed. He had his staff in our home that afternoon, and they had the new furnace installed that day. Like their boss, Max and Charlie were both courteous and proficient in their work, providing excellent service from the moment they walked into the door until the job was done.
My family can now rest easy thanks to LaSalle Heating, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

A BIG THANK YOU to LaSalle Heating.. our furnace went out late yesterday and I called and they sent Charlie out in less than 1 hour! He found the issue, fixed it and also gave us great winter tips. Charlie was super friendly, and professional. With the weather being so very cold, We appreciate business’s like you that come thru to make sure we were warm . A/C fan stopped working. Max came out the next day and zeroed in on the problem (bad capacitor) pretty much instantly. Replaced it and had AC again in about 20 minutes from doorbell to invoice. Couldn’t be more pleased with service.

To start, this is the first google review I have ever posted but I felt compelled to author this after my air conditioner suddenly stopped working about a month ago and after quickly researching reviews I chose to call LaSalle heating and cooling and couldn’t be happier I did. Between my wife and I, we have very demanding work schedules and facilitating a day at home can be extremely difficult. The long story is below; the short story is that I had my entire HVAC system replaced, which was unfortunate (but no fault of the company) and it was the best customer experience I’ve ever had with any in home improvement/service company and I can’t say enough good things about Scott and his team.
The first time I contacted LaSalle it was around 8AM on a weekday, the owner answered and was polite and professional; let me know he’d be out within an hour which pleasantly surprised me and was appreciated given the aforementioned difficulties my wife and I have missing work. True to his word, he showed up within his quoted window and began troubleshooting immediately. Within about an hour, Scott broke the bad news to me that the AC unit (15 years old) was beyond repair. He thoroughly explained what was wrong with it, and gave me a few options ranging from temporary solutions to full replacement. Scott was extremely informative, and did not take a salesperson attitude or approach to our problem. He was extremely respectful as I consulted with my wife (and friends/family) about the options and pricing and gave time and space to make a decision.
Ultimately, we decided it would be safest and most financially sound in the long run to replace both the AC and furnace units, so I called Scott back and within a couple hours, he was right back at our house and helped me pick out the right units that fit our needs and explained all the differences (initial price, energy savings, rebates, etc.) between what seemed like a million options. Again, there was ZERO pressure or upselling attempted. On the contrary, he explained his experiences with some of the more expensive/complicated units that may be overkill for the size of our home. He explained he would not be able to come back and install it for about a week, which involved me taking another day off work and my wife (and dogs) suffering through 90+ degree days, or so I thought. Scott worked to schedule the installation on a day that I was already off of work and as an added courtesy; he refilled our broken AC unit with enough refrigerants to last us until then without charge (about 200-300 dollars from my research) so we weren’t uncomfortable in the interim. A week later, 2 of Scott’s employees showed up exactly when he said they would and got to work immediately. Unfortunately I cannot remember their names, but they too were extremely professional and respectful of our house. They asked questions to ensure the units were placed and setup to our liking, and gave us a complete tutorial of all the new equipment and best practices with any HVAC system. After they had finished, they let me know to give them a call when I was ready to pay and they would come back with the paperwork for rebates, registration.
At the time they collected payment (again, they catered to my schedule), they also provided some high quality filters and installed a wifi/smart thermostat my wife and I had picked out and were super knowledgeable and gave us a detailed tutorial on how to use it from the panel as well as our cell phones. They also brought us our rebate and registration forms, essentially ready to mail.
In summation, as stated above, I had an outstanding experience with this great local business owner. I’ve highly recommended him to friends, family and coworkers and will be a lifelong customer. Thanks again Scott!

While all other HVAC businesses I called tried to upsell on products and services, Scott was upfront and honest with me and recommended what I actually needed. We were looking for annual maintenance on HVAC, and possible replacement of our AC unit. Instead of immediately sending someone out to quote me on a new AC unit, he dug deeper and asked a few questions to address my concerns. Turns out the unit is working as intended, and he taught me a few things about it in the process. They just came out this morning for our annual furnace maintenance, and were extremely knowledgeable, prompt, and thorough. Thank you for not trying to make a quick buck up front, you have earned my business going forward.
